FEES

                 2009  STUDENT REGISTRATION

 

Hong Kong applicants must complete and return their Student Registration form and appropriate fee in HK$ to the Institute no later than the 14th January of each examination year. (Examination Year: 1st June to 31st May.)

 

Student Registrations received after these dates will NOT be accepted.

 

Registration as a student does NOT confer Membership of the Institute and students may NOT use any initials after their names denoting that they are Registered Students of the Institute.

 

FEES

 

Fees are payable for Student Registration and for Examination Entry.  (Students taking the Foundation Diploma (FD) must also register, and pay the same registration fee as students taking the professional qualifying exams (PQE))

 

For Hong Kong Branch Students :

 

Student Registration Fee is HK$ 749* by cheque should be made payable  to :  Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers” and mailed to:

Alternatively,

Directly deposit into the Standard Chartered Bank A/C No. 411-1-000018-6 and send the pay-in-slip to above address.

 

*At an exchange rate of 15.6, the equivalent of 48 GBP = HK $ 749

 

Examination Entry fees must be paid in Pounds Sterling to The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London. (See Examination Entry forms on www.ics.org.hk)

 

 

EXAM ENTRY PROCEDURE

 

Hong Kong Candidates must complete and return the examination entry form (FD or PQE), together with the appropriate fee, to the Institute no later than the than the 21st January of each examination year. (Examination Year: 1st June to 31st May.)

 

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit their entry form well in advance of the closing date and to ensure that it is acknowledged. No allowance can be made for any special circumstances or for any error or omission by the candidate, by a principal, by a parent or friend or by the postal authorities. Late entries will NOT be accepted.
